Twenty-two innovative businesses in NSW will share more than $1 million in funding to help bring new products and technologies to market through the first round of the 2025–26 MVP Ventures Program.
The program supports startups at an important stage of development. It helps businesses move beyond early ideas and prototypes into testing, commercial development and market launch.
The funded projects cover several key industries, including housing, manufacturing, energy, healthcare and digital technology. Many of the projects aim to improve productivity, strengthen supply chains and create skilled jobs.
Some of the supported projects include:
- A digital platform that provides real-time payment tracking and project management tools for the construction industry.
- An AI-powered system that helps reduce design and documentation time for construction projects.
- An autonomous robotics platform for inspecting, mapping and repairing pipelines.
- A patented baby bottle that automatically prepares infant formula for easier feeding while travelling.
- A digital communication tool that helps nurses and carers communicate with aged care residents who have language or communication barriers.
- A digital platform that helps medical practices manage cybersecurity, finance and regulatory compliance.
- A wearable medical device designed to help people living with Parkinson's disease improve walking and reduce falls.
- A residential thermal energy storage system that allows homes to store daytime solar energy for heating and cooling at a lower cost than traditional battery systems.
The MVP Ventures Program is designed to support businesses with strong commercial potential by helping them test, improve and expand innovative products and services.
An additional $6 million has been committed to the program, with up to $3 million available across three competitive funding rounds during the 2025–26 program.
Applications for the second funding round are currently being assessed, and a third round is expected to open later.
The program aims to help innovative businesses develop practical solutions, attract investment and bring new technologies to market.
