State-Owned Generators Meet Maintenance Targets for 2025-26

Government-owned energy corporations CleanCo, CS Energy, and Stanwell have achieved their annual Electricity Maintenance Guarantee targets for the 2025-26 financial year. These targets cover maintenance standards, personal safety, process safety, and plant performance. The initiative is supported by a $1.8 billion commitment to ensure the reliability of existing power assets while developing future infrastructure.

CS Energy completed two major overhauls at the Callide C Power Station on schedule and within budget. Stanwell reported a reliability factor of 99.1 per cent, ensuring secure electricity supply. CleanCo set new generation records and delivered the 250-megawatt Swanbank Battery project under budget.

Audited performance reports for these key indicators are scheduled to be published in annual reports tabled by September 30. The maintenance program aims to stabilize energy costs and improve system reliability, contributing to recent reductions in power bills for households and small businesses.
